Let's find out your ideal web host match
Starting an online business should be as fun and exciting as the journey that goes with it. It shouldn’t feel like a chore, but instead be like a breath of fresh air. If you’re here, you might be wondering about web hosting providers that are worth the money. You may also be comparing prices. Should you go with Shopify? What about Squarespace or ShowIt? How do you know which option is best for your business and your tech-knowledge?
In all honesty, there’s not a one-size-fits all. Every business or brand is unique and by unique, I mean the products, services, and workflows needed.
If you’re just starting out, consider the overhead costs you’ll accumulate. The point is, you want to save as much as you can but not to cost you your sanity and efficiency.
In this post, I give you the five web hosting providers I recommend for beginners who lack the tech knowledge or know-how.

Hostinger
- Best for beginners
- Comes with a free domain
- Includes free SSL (keeps your site secured)
- High value-added savings
Hostinger is by far one of the best web host providers I recommend. They have top notch support, an intuitive user interface, and lots of value-added benefits without breaking the bank.
If you’re just starting your website or looking to transition to a better web hosting provider, this may be the solution for you.
Here’s why I recommend Hostinger as a web host provider:
I am a current client and this is where I host a majority of the websites I own. Plus, the customer service experience I’ve had has been positive so far.
Prolific Host
- Best for my clients
- Comes with managed WordPress
- Includes free SSL (keeps your site secured)
- Bonus Perks included
This one is a little bit biased because this is my own web solutions agency. An unshameful plug here. 😁 But I have no doubt you’ll be more than satisfied as a client because of all the support you get once you’re in.
Not only will you get the usual web hosting support you get from other providers, but this also gives you membership benefits that goes beyond website tech support.
✔️ You get guided into a stress-free website launch tailored to your specific needs
✔️ You get asynchronous support whenever you need it
✔️ Managed WordPress included – this is usually an add-on security offer
✔️ Essential WP premium plugins included

Verpex
- Best deal
- Comes with 24/7/365 support
- Includes free SSL (keeps your site secured)
- Features unlimited email accounts
Verpex has made it to my list as a former client of theirs. I can vouch for their support and the unlimited email account feature they offer. If you have a big team of at least five or more, the unlimited email feature may sell it for you.
Here’s why I recommend Verpex as a web host provider:
They have an intuitive user interface which is great for my non-techy friends. Also, if you love supporting priovately-owned sites (not owned by corporate conglomerates), this may be a way for you to show support. On top of that, they always have the best deals for new clients.
Ionos
- Unlimited websites
- Includes a free domain for one year
- Includes free SSL (keeps your site secured)
- Features unlimited storage
For just a $1 per month, you can get started with your website building journey. Plus, another shameless plug – I am affiliated with them as an Ionos partner agency.
Here’s why I recommend Ionos as a web host provider:
Ionos has been in business for over 30 years and boasts a clientele of over 6.2 million. That’s a lot of web hosting experience IMO. On top of that, you can hire an agency partner from their network and have the ability to grant access to your account without having to share sensitive information such as passwords and account usernames (in case you find yourself needing the extra expert support).
Elementor Hosting
- Elementor site builder pre-installed
- Includes a free domain
- Includes free SSL (keeps your site secured)
- Features *unshared hosting space
Undoubtedly the priciest of them all (but not much), but fear not, there’s a reason why I chose Elementor as a contender for highly vetted web hosting providers in this list.
Here’s why I recommend Elementor as a web host provider:
The reason why I would recommend Elementor web hosting is purely because of the Elementor plugin which I use for all client websites. If you use WordPress to power your website, the plugin is what I highly recommend you use. It’s a user-friendly and straightforward drag-and-drop site builder.
It doesn’t have to be an overwhelming journey to create on your own. Most importantly, it doesn’t have to be expensive. We know how tempting it is to use big-name providers such as Shopify or Squarespace but you have to admit that at the end of the day, it gets heavy on your pockets.
You can build on your own even without the tech skills, the design skills, or writing skills just yet. I used to be clueless on what I needed to do.
However, it did not stop me from doing it on my own. There are others who are building on their own too. It’s okay to doubt but it’s never okay to stay stuck.
